Agility Training

beardedjumpAgility is just about the most about the most fun you and your dog can have together! In the sport of agility, the handler has a certain amount of time to get their dog to safely navigate a set of obstacles in order. The obstacles can include jumps, tunnels, a chute, weave poles, A-frame, dog walk, teeter-totter, and more. The dog must safely complete the obstacles in a specific order and within the time limit.

Success in agility requires proper training, as it is a game of physical skill, control, patience and, most of all, teamwork between handler and dog. A great agility team (and that's what you and your dog are, a team) is built upon a foundation of basic skills. Using positive training techniques and emphasizing play, we take time from the start to build these skills.

Once the basic foundation skills are in place, we move on to equipment and handling skills. Foremost is our desire to help you build a great relationship with your dog, where YOU will are the ultimate reward and agility becomes the ultimate game your dog can play with you.
